CentrePeace is a small shop situated in a central position in The Causeway in Burwell. It was originally set up by St Mary's Church in Burwell and is now run by a management committee and staffed entirely by volunteers. Some of our volunteers are church members but many are not. Everyone is welcome in CentrePeace!
CentrePeace has two main functions. Apart from being a shop selling 'nearly new' books and jigsaws and a selection of greetings cards, its other, and more important function, is that it is a place where people can come for a chat. Tea and coffee are always available free to our customers.
